Nidhi Van-This is one of the Leela bhoomi of the Divine:

In this sacred kunj, the divine couple Radha and Krishn sometimes rest after performing the raas-lila dance. There is a small mandir which is the Shringar-ghar of Shreemati Radharani, called Rang – Mahal, where a bed is kept for them to rest. It is also here that Krishn decorates Radharani.

Another mandir is here; called Banke Bihari Pragatya Sthali; the divine murti of Bankey Bihari Appeared from this place.

There is another mandir here called the Bansi Chor Radharani, which shows Her playing Krishn’s flute; Her two close sakhis, Lalita and Vishaka stand here with Her.

You can also see the sacred kund which is known as Vishaka’s Kund.

This sacred sthal has been reduced to a very small area; construction is taking over every area of Vrindavan dham. Sad, as the authorities are not doing anything to prevent it and preserve what is left over from the early glory

The sacred trees and the pure ruj are now being looked after by a group of bhakts, so will most probably be preserved for the future years

Monkeys are in abundance here, in fact you are advised by the guides to keep a tight hold on belongings. These monkeys leave the place once it gets dark; nothing living stays inside the parisar

Swami Haridas, who was no other than Lalita Sakhi of the inner consortium of the Lord, constantly and continuously meditated on the Nitya Ras and Nitya Bihar of Lord at Nitya Vrindavan. His way of sadhna was to compose and sing songs in the praise of Lord.

While on earth, living in a mortal state, he maintained his regular participation in the Nitya Bihar and always enjoyed the pleasure of closeness of Lord. He chose a secluded and dense forest area in Nidhivan as his gateway to the Nitya Bihar and was mostly sitting there, singing, meditating and surfing in the ocean of eternal bliss.

The image of Banke-Bihari was discovered in Nidhi Vana by Swami Haridas the great Krishn devotee, belonging to the Nimbark sampradaya.

Nidhivan is a center of love and the bhakts who come there have the belief that Krishn still appears there in the night.  The plants and trees which you see in the garden are the Gopis who love Krishna and in daytime they are in the form of trees but in the night they become the Gopis and dance with Krishn and Radha.
